Lessons
Showcase The Street offer a wide range of opportunities to learn new skills in various Media, IT and Sound Recording platforms, from learning how to use a camera and making a Movie, to recording a band or solo artist, we have the equipment and staff to teach young people how creative they can be.
Video/Animation Suite
We have a video suite with 5 audio/video workstations that offer a variety of software packages to teach young people how a movie is created from the initial idea to a full production.
Showcase The Street record their end of year theatre productions with the help of it’s staff, volunteer’s, and the young people who crew the cameras, sound, lights and projectors, giving experience in all technical aspects of the show.
Video/Graphics Projects
We run video and graphic workshops in our Dundee building, we can also facilitate these projects in schools, youth centers and in the wider community.
Groups we have worked with
4XL, Augment Scotland, Enable Scotland, Inclusion, Young Carers, Explore, Volunteer Centre - Dundee, Perth and Kinross Fire and Rescue, Tayside Fire and Rescue and Schools in Angus and Dundee.
