Showcase On the Move
Would you like Showcase the Street to come to you?
Showcase the Street can visit any group including youth groups, schools, youth clubs, and community centres and deliver dance workshops in various dance styles including Hip Hop, Creative, Contemporary and Irish dance. We also deliver music workshops in drumming, guitar and band work. Showcase can also work with groups of young people on media projects in film, video and sound editing.

Drumming Circles
We can also deliver drumming circle workshops for any age and ability. Drumming circles are uplifting, empowering, they create a sense of community, equality and cooperation within any group plus they are lots of fun! We recommend them for all groups including staff development and training days. Absolute beginners absolutely welcome


Where’s the party!!!
X Factor Parties
Showcase the Street also hold X Factor parties for birthday, hen nights and any other celebration you can think of. Come along rehearse a song and a dance and get your very own DVD made of the event. 


Showcase Unsigned Acts
Band Development
Are you or do you want to be in a band? Showcase the Street can work with young musicians who are interested in forming a band or who are in the early stages of working as a band. We can provide tutoring, mentoring and up to date advice on the ins and outs of the UK music industry.

Recording Studio
We have a fully equipped and professional film and sound Recording Studio in Dundee. Including multi track location recording and CD Mastering.

 

Volunteering Programme 
Millennium Volunteers
Showcase the Street welcome volunteers and use the Millennium Volunteers nationally recognised programme. Showcase the Street work closely with Volunteer Centres in Dundee and Angus to help give people of all ages’ opportunities and gain accreditation

Dance and Music studio space  
The Showcase the Street studios in all our facilities are let out to external organisations so if you are looking for a dance studio or a music rehearsal space please let us know.

Making Moving Images
Location filming and video editing
Showcase the Street offer location filming and video editing services. If you have a story to tell then let us know and we can film, edit and put your footage onto DVD for you

 

Wedding, Hen and Stag night dance lessons      
What are you doing for your first wedding dance or to entertain your guests at your hen or stag party? Why not wow your guests with your amazing version of the latest dance craze. We can offer you private lessons where you can learn and rehearse a choreographed dance piece.
